About the Journal
The Journal of Electrochemical Science and Hydrogen Technology (JESHT) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to research and innovation in electrochemistry, hydrogen production, electrochemical energy conversion, and sustainable energy technologies. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, engineers, and industry professionals to share original research, review articles, technical studies, and emerging developments in electrochemical and hydrogen technologies.
The journal covers a broad range of topics including alkaline water electrolysis, green hydrogen production, PEM and AEM electrolyzers, electrochemistry, electrode and electrocatalyst materials, hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution reactions, renewable-energy-powered hydrogen production, electrolyzer performance optimization, and energy efficiency. Research addressing advanced materials, catalyst development, electrochemical interfaces, membrane technologies, reaction mechanisms, and system-level improvements is particularly welcomed.
JESHT also encourages interdisciplinary research connecting electrochemical science with materials science, nanotechnology, chemical engineering, renewable energy, computational modeling, process optimization, and energy systems. Studies involving techno-economic assessment, life-cycle analysis, sustainability, renewable-energy integration, and the development of efficient and scalable hydrogen production systems are within the journal's scope.
The journal aims to contribute to the development of efficient, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable technologies for the emerging hydrogen economy. By promoting scientific exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration, JESHT seeks to support advances in electrochemical science and accelerate the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy systems.
