Copyright Ownership
Authors retain copyright of their work unless otherwise agreed through a written publishing arrangement with the journal. By submitting a manuscript to JESHT, authors confirm that they have the necessary rights to submit and publish the work and that the manuscript does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party.
Author Rights
Authors retain the right to use their published work for legitimate scholarly and educational purposes, subject to the applicable publication license and any reasonable attribution requirements. Authors may share their permitted version of the article through institutional repositories, personal academic webpages, or other appropriate scholarly platforms in accordance with the applicable license.
Authors may also use their published work for teaching, academic presentations, research activities, and other non-commercial scholarly purposes, provided that appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication is maintained.
Licensing
Unless otherwise stated on the individual article, articles published by JESHT are intended to be distributed under an appropriate Creative Commons license, allowing readers to access, share, and reuse published material subject to the terms of the applicable license.
The specific Creative Commons license applied to each article will be clearly identified on the article's publication page and in the published article.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material belonging to third parties, including figures, photographs, tables, illustrations, datasets, or substantial portions of previously published works, when such permission is required.
Any third-party material included in a manuscript should be appropriately credited and accompanied by the necessary permission statement where applicable.
Originality and Copyright Infringement
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and do not contain material reproduced without appropriate authorization or attribution. Submission of a manuscript constitutes confirmation that the authors have obtained all necessary permissions for copyrighted third-party content included in the manuscript.
If copyright infringement or unauthorized reproduction is identified after publication, JESHT may investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a correction, removing unauthorized material, publishing a notice, or retracting the article where warranted.
Copyright and Published Articles
Publication of an article in JESHT does not transfer ownership of copyright beyond the terms expressly established by the journal's applicable publishing agreement or license.
The journal retains the right to publish, distribute, archive, preserve, and make the published version of the article available through its website, indexing services, repositories, and recognized digital preservation systems, subject to the applicable license.

Any reuse, redistribution, or reproduction of material published by JESHT must comply with the applicable Creative Commons license or other stated publication terms and must provide appropriate credit to the original authors and journal.
Changes to Copyright Policy
JESHT may update this Copyright Policy when necessary to reflect changes in publishing practices, licensing arrangements, applicable regulations, or recognized scholarly communication standards. Any significant changes will be reflected on the journal website.
By submitting a manuscript to JESHT, authors acknowledge and agree to the copyright and licensing conditions applicable to their submission and publication.
